The Telling Stories initiative highlights the challenges faced by Iranian women and girls, and serves as the basis for developing the regulatory solutions for the advancement and full participation of women in civil society. Through this initiative, Iran Rooyan will collect, research, write and share stories concerning the harsh realities and challenges Iranian women and girls face. In addition, Iran Rooyan will feature stories highlighting the accomplishments of women and girls as they attempt to navigate through the social, cultural, religious and legal parameters within Iranian society.
The Raising Voices initiative captures the narratives and stories of Iranian women and girls in order to draw the international community’s attention to the condition of women and girls in Iran. Through this initiative, Iran Rooyan will engage international constituents in the debate for women’s rights in Iran, planning conferences, seminars, advocacy campaigns and training programs for policy makers, journalists, NGOs and decision-makers in order to ensure that the challenges and successes of Iranian women and girls are presented to the international community and institutions.
Iran Rooyan's Transforming Society Initiative aims to identify civil society actors in Iran and strengthen their capabilities.
